Quantitative Easing: Quantitative Easing (QE) is a monetary policy tool used by central banks to stimulate the economy when standard monetary policy measures, such as adjusting interest rates, become less effective. QE involves the central bank purchasing financial assets, typically government securities or other securities, from the open market with the goal of injecting money into the economy.
Quantum Computing: It is an area of computing that harnesses the principles of quantum mechanics to perform certain types of calculations much more efficiently than classical computers. Unlike classical computers, which use bits as the basic unit of information represented as either a 0 or a 1, quantum computers use quantum bits or qubits.
QR Code: While not specific to crypto, QR codes (Quick Response codes) are commonly used in the cryptocurrency space. In crypto, QR codes often represent wallet addresses, making it convenient for users to scan and quickly transfer funds without manually entering a long alphanumeric address.
